Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports Gets New Training Facility

A brand-new base for Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports: introducing the Sauber Esports Arena.

Sauber Motorsport unveiled the Sauber Esports Arena, a brand-new home for the team to host all its esports activities. Situated within the team’s headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland, at the heart of its operations, the Sauber Esports Arena is a unique space for the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports drivers to take part in training boot camps before each event and from which to race, starting from the upcoming Event Two of the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship.

The concept of a dedicated Esports facility had been in the pipeline for a few years, but it was only after the pandemic, when most events were taking place online, that the importance of having a proper area where to host the drivers became clear, and how crucial it would be for the development of the team’s Esports program. This is the concept behind the Sauber Esports Arena: a space for Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports drivers Dani Bereznay, Nico Longuet, and Tomek Poradzisz to practice and race together, allowing them to share information with each other in between sessions to improve their performances .

With the support of Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports partners, Fanatec and Playseat, who play a fundamental role to support the team’s Esports program, the Sauber Esports Arena is supplied with the most advanced equipment, to grant drivers the best experience while being at the top of their game.

Fans have also been able to be part of the action, thanks to Socios.com: the team’s digital token holders have, in fact, been granted the exclusive opportunity to choose the name of the new Esports facility over the course of four days, with the choice ultimately falling on the Sauber Esports Arena moniker.

With a brand-new exclusive home, a competitive line-up, and the most updated equipment, Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports is ready to get back on track and compete for the 2022 F1 Esports crown.

Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN: “We are thrilled to unveil the Sauber Esports Arena, a further step in the development of the team’s Esports program, as well as a confirmation of our commitment to keep playing a leading role in the Esports scene. With the series gaining more and more recognition and attracting new fans, we are delighted to give our talented Esports drivers a new and exclusive facility, where they will be able to train and race together as they battle for the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship title. ”
